Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Jennifer Furcht has years of training and experience in balancing the body.                     

What is Sacro Occipital Technique?

Sacro (pelvis) Occipital (head) technique analyzes the spine, muscles, cranium, organs and extremities for a total body adjustment. The goal is to release stress off your nervous system.  The nervous system controls the function of every tissue, organ, and system in the body. When in balance many diseases and symptoms have been eliminated such as; migraines, ADD/ADHD, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, constipation, female disorders, weight problems, skin disorders, organ dysfunction, insomnia, jaw pain, earaches, menopause symptoms, depression, neck pain, back pain, acid reflux, infertility and other noted conditions.

What is BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique?

BioEnergertic Synchronization Technique is a system of healing that recognizes that the body is more than the sum of its parts.  BEST is  state- of - the -art  in balancing Body/Mind/Memory/Soul energy fields.  When these energy fields are out of balance, symptoms develop and health deteriotates.  Many factors affect the  body's state of  balance.  Emotional issues of the past as well as the choices that we have made, or currently make in six essential areas; what we eat and drink; how we exercise and rest; what we breathe; and what we think all affect our energy field balance. When these systems are out of balance, they become exhausted.  Symptoms such as pain and disease often develop. Holding specific pressure points will help your brain and body re-connect, repair, and rebuild the response mechanism of your body for health and restoration.

 


Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.

We offer group and individual Pilates classes with state of the art pole and reformer equipment.  What is Pilates? Pilates is an exercise method that was developed by Joseph H. Pilates over 90 years ago.  He was a pioneer of modern physical fitness and a visionary in his approach. This mehtod formulates mind-body exercise using mats and equipment identified as contrology.  The goal of this method is to achieve uniform development of muscles that are legenthened and strong.  Results of the Pilates method include a functional body that can perform daily tasks with efficiency, improved sports performance, body alignment, improved posture, overall balance of core strength and flexibility.

Lifestyle Advice

We often find it helpful to "coach" our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Our goal is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle full of the activities they enjoy most. We recognize that each our patient is a whole person, and help them reach true health and wellness is a collaborate effort between our professionals and our patients.

 


Nutritional Counseling

We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patientīs return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you? Dr. Jen can provide a structured nutritional program based on your individual needs.

Nutritional deficiency is a tragedy causing over 80% of chronic and degenerative diseases even at the youngest of ages. The modern food supply falls very short of providing all that is necessary to produce healthy people. Even a good diet does not supply all the micronutrients you need for optimal health.

Many stores sell supplements.  Whole You  uses the highest quality of whole food products sold by professionals only. The difference is store bought brands are synthetically derived.   Synthetic vitamins are not recognized by the body and therefore considered foreign. Did you know studies have shown these types of vitamins cause birth defects, atherosclerosis, cancer, strokes and heart attacks.
